Finding Comfort in Loose Leaf Tea

In Japan, it’s a long-standing tradition to find green tea sets in ryokan (traditional inn) rooms.

I have fond memories of making tea with my mother when I was a child. Even though tea bags are common now, I still miss the ritual of using loose tea leaves. Does your country have any similar traditions or welcoming rituals?
