Stepping back 600 years in Kurogi, Yame. 🌸🍃


Did you know this massive Wisteria tree was planted by a Prince in the 14th century? It’s a national treasure that has survived fires and time, now spreading over 3,000 square meters.


But there’s more to this town—it’s also the birthplace of Yame Matcha. The first tea seeds were brought here from China around the same time this tree was planted.
